Description

For a long time, aluminium was the right choice for small workboats which had to be able to reach speeds of over 20 kts. This material however has some unfavourable corrosion characteristics, which have been the reason for Damen to switch to composites. As a bonus, the freedom of design in composites offers some great opportunities for cost-effective production.
