Once again this year, the KIVI NIRIA Department of Measurement, Control and Steering Technology (MRB) will award the Control Engineering Prize 2008 for research at Master level. The Control Engineering Prize is awarded to the most appealing graduation work in the field of control engineering carried out in the past calendar year at one of the Dutch Master's programmes. In addition to the presentation of the Control Engineering Prize 2008, all candidates are given the opportunity to give a presentation on their graduation work. The prize consists of a certificate and a sum of money.

The festive presentation of the Control Engineering Award 2008 will take place on Wednesday 12 November 2008 at the University of Arnhem and Nijmegen. There is no charge to attend the Regeltechniekprijs 2008 presentation and guests are welcome. However, you should register by Thursday 6 November 2008 at the latest

The programme is as follows:

17:30-18:30 h Reception with sandwiches and coffee/tea
18:30-18:40 h Opening and introduction of the Control Technology Award 2008
18:40-19:05 h Lecture speaker (not yet known)
19:05-19:35 pm Readings candidates
19:35-20:00 pm Break
20:00-21:00 pm Readings candidates
21:00-21:15 pm Presentation of the Control Engineering Prize 2008
21:15-22:15 pm Drinks

I.Due to a trio of activities by the Department of Civil Engineering/CIVIAL TECHNOLOGY, it will be busier on the campus than elsewhere.
