Description

During the symposium, you will gain insight into current developments in the field of hydrogen-powered driving. For the HAN, research in the field of Automotive is an important spearhead.

Bram Veenhuizen, lector Vehicle Mechatronics, will give an insight into the research of the lectorate Vehicle Mechatronics. Within
this lectorate, the HAN conducts research into vehicles running on alternative (sustainable) fuels.

Edwin Tazelaar, researcher and coordinator Master in Control Systems Engineering, presents his PhD thesis on energy management of a fuel cell hybrid drive system.

Alexander Hablé, transition manager at the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, outlines government policy on sustainable energy and the place of hydrogen in it.

Wout Benning, Innovation and Technology Advisor at Mercedes-Benz Netherlands, presents the state of the art and the prospects for Daimler's market introduction of fuel cell vehicles.

In conclusion, Marie Pauline van Voorst tot Voorst, futurist and project manager for exploring super-intelligent
transport systems at the Foundation for the Future of Technology, takes us into the future. She will outline what role hydrogen will have in the year 2050 and especially what road we will take between now and 2050
