How can Industry 4.0 close the gap between software engineering and other engineering disciplines? Come experience how concepts like "model-based engineering" and "augmented reality" are already making future programming possible for the mechanical engineer. In a hands- on workshop, you will be introduced to the basic concepts and create your own virtual machine that functions completely identically to an existing physical setup. Once you have simulated and operated this virtual machine using a hololens, you will know what future programming will look like.
