KIVI Department of Mechanics congratulates the JMBC
2017 marks the 25th anniversary of the J.M. Burgerscentrum, who together with us annually provide the Hoogendoorn Prize!
Department of mechanics would like to congratulate the JMBC on this achievement and also for the research they do in the field of fluid dynamics.
During the Burgers Symposium on 30 and 31 May at conference centre De Wereld, Lunteren, a special session will be held that will address the history of the research school and its scholar after whom it is named: Prof Jan M. Burgers. Furthermore, a book will be published on Jan M. Burgers written by Prof Jan Sengers (University of Maryland) and Prof Gijs Ooms (Eindhoven University of Technology).
