Description

The 'Oil and Gas Technology' and 'Mining' departments are organising:

Evening seminar 'The Groningen Earthquakes II'
-Developments since 2013-

This evening seminar is a follow-up to the successful (first) KIVI meeting on the 'Groningen' earthquakes on 3 March 2014.

In 2014 and 2015, further studies were carried out into the backgrounds and effects of the induced earthquakes in the Groningen gas field. This is linked to the decision on the 2016 Extraction Plan, and also what the expectations are regarding the severity and numbers of earthquakes during further gas extraction in Groningen.

This second evening seminar will focus on some recent developments and findings.

The 'Oil and Gas Technology' and 'Mining' departments would like to invite you to an evening meeting on this important topic.
