Train your Brain! Get the success out of your (thinking) diverse team.

Diverse teams are more successful - but also more difficult! In your team, do you ever have discussions about 'the best approach' or 'how do we do this here'? In recent years, it became known that precisely differences in thinking and working methods are the recipe for success (McKinsey, 2020). But... that is, of course, only if you know how to exploit them positively. And that, unfortunately, turns out not to be so obvious.

How do you draw strength and success from your (thinking) diverse team?

That is what we are going to work on interactively this afternoon.

Sandra Minnee

Sandra is a psychologist, executive coach and founder of Teaming Up BV.

After a career in market research and organisational consulting, Sandra started her own company in 2001. She became fascinated by the differences between people and developed the thinking styles tool BreinStijl in 2003. Sandra wants to help people become aware of their own strengths, as well as see and appreciate the strengths of others, so that together you are stronger. This positive tone, focusing on strengths, and the 'fun' of growing and developing - as a person and as a team - is hugely important to her.

In 2012, she wrote the book BreinStijl@Work, how to collaborate, communicate and innovate more easily. In 2018, she launched the digital platform, with practical tools so that people use their diverse qualities (correctly) in daily practice. In 2021, she added the Team Accelerator tool, which measures how effective you are as a team, and how to improve. This was followed in 2023 by the AI Coach, which (after permission) knows the Brain Styles of team members, and adjusts coaching recommendations accordingly.

Sandra is an innovative thinker - always working on change and innovation. She loves travelling, by land and in spirit, is a partner and mother of two daughters.

Teaming Up helps teams work better together, with team coaching and digital tooling. The focus is on making the most of all the diverse qualities so that everyone's strengths are harnessed and you are stronger together.

Route

We will be guests at VIKTOR in Rotterdam, an inspiring location where innovative technology and collaboration come together. From Rotterdam station it is easy to reach: walk straight ahead and keep the Rabobank office in sight on the right. Turn right in front of the Rabobank-don't go inside-and you'll find the VIKTOR building right next door. Downstairs, a VIKTOR staff member will welcome you and guide you to the 15th floor.

Coming by car? You can park at parking garage Schouwburgplein 2. Nevertheless, we recommend travelling by public transport so that you arrive relaxed and without parking stress!
