FOUNDATION MEETING
KIVI NIRIA Network Female Engineers aims to make KIVI NIRIA more attractive to part of its (potential) members: female engineers. Also, the network wants to increase the visibility of the female engineer within KIVI NIRIA.
The first activity 'New Spring New Sound' on 1 April last was a success. Many ideas came up that we will now turn into concrete activities. Examples include organising a Robot Game, a Stratego workshop for Women and a welding course. But first, the official launch of KIVI NIRIA Network Female Engineers will take place on Wednesday 3 June.
The programme includes an explanation of the founding document, the election of board members and the determination of activities for 2009. After this formal part, the opening drinks will start with a joint toast to the official launch of KIVI NIRIA Network Female Engineers.
You, as a female engineer, are invited to attend! Besides jointly determining what the 2009 activities will be, you can sign up that day if you want to help organise an activity. Organising is the way to make your ideas concrete and to get to know other female engineers better.

The meeting will end with a resounding toast to mark the opening.
