On Monday 27 September we would like to give the floor to Aukje Doornbos

Aukje is Managing Director Covestro Energy Curable Solutions at Covestro. She is a Dutch National with a background in chemical engineering from the Technical Universit in Eindhoven.

Priori to joining Covestro she has worked for DSM for 17 years in multiple roles, ranging from scientist, process engineer, supply chain management before moving the commercial roles as Business Manager and later on Senior Advisor to the CEO at the DSM Headquarters. Recently she lived and worked out of Chicago, USA, before moving back to the Netherlands early 2020.

She recently joined Covestro with the acquisition of the Resins & Functional Materials business and is now leading all of the UV business from Covestro Coatings & Adhesives. Next to that she is also Managing Director of Covestro Netherlands.

Aukje is married to Jan, they have a son of 7 and daughter of 5 years old and enjoy their lives in Valkenburg.
