I would like to introduce myself as the new president of the KIVI Network of Women Engineers
I am Diana van den Heuvel, graduated in French Language and Literature and then in Electrical Engineering at TU Delft. In my current role as Corporate Account Director at Siemens Energy, I am in the middle of the energy transition and every day I am proud to contribute to meeting our ambitious climate goals in an international environment. And every day we are faced with the challenges of meeting these climate goals. The conditions among which are certainly not easy, very dynamic and require creative solutions, thinking differently, flexibility and cooperation. War, increasingly urgent shortages in materials and people are some situations that are now very close to us.
But I very much believe in cooperation and joining really all our forces to put our knowledge and network strength where it is most needed. I have already had the opportunity to meet some Kivi members and see an energetic spirit for collaboration of the Network of Women Engineers with all KIVI departments. We want to use the coming time to further shape this cooperation and fulfil the needs made via a recent survey by the Network of Women Engineers. As an activity, which emerged from this survey, you can already look forward to the inspiring podcasts around personal development and accessible to all.
Collaboration comes from both sides. If you want to shape our collaboration as an ambassador for your profession, now is the time! Or would you rather gain experience on a board as a future board member?
I cordially invite you. Please let me and Celina van den Bank know. I would like to end my introduction with a heartfelt thank you for the years of energetic commitment of outgoing chair Ciska de Haan and her board team. Thank you very much!
I look forward to our cooperation and always willing to get to know you better!
Kind regards,
Diana van den Heuvel
