WEBINAR KIVI Kerntechniek - NNS: Young professionals in the nuclear sector

On Friday 25 February from 15:00-16:00, KIVI Kerntechniek, in collaboration with NNS and DYG, is organising an online webinar about (and by) the new generation. Enthusiastic young people working at the nuclear companies and institutes NRG, Urenco, EPZ and TUDelft, will talk in short 10-minute pitches about new developments within these institutes: from developing a new waste processing plant at NRG, to modelling a new type of nuclear reactor.

The provisional programme is as follows:

Evert Poots (NRG): the Waste Transfer Unit: a new packaging plant for radioactive waste

Matthijs Vlasblom (EPZ): Rebuilding local control panels of nuclear auxiliary systems

Marc van den Berg (RID): Modelling the U-Battery® nuclear reactor

And a fourth speaker will talk about recent developments at URENCO.
