Description

On the September 27th, the Offshore Engineering Student Association (DOT) will organise the Offshore Symposium. This biennial event will take place in the conference center of the Delft University of Technology.

In order to meet the global demand for hydrocarbons, the offshore industry tends to focus more and more on the 'difficult areas'. Due to political or technical challenging circumstances, many resources are difficult to reach. Finding hydrocarbons and scarce minerals in deep waters is one of these challenges. Together with Arctic engineering, deep water engineering is currently the most important topic in the industry. The speakers at our symposium with different backgrounds in the offshore industry will be invited to elaborate on recent innovations and share their views with the audience.
