Gas: From Flare To Favourite?
Description
In the early days of the offshore hydrocarbon industry, gas used to be considered as a by-product that would simply be flared in order to dispose of it. The main issue was how to transport the gas. Nowadays, new developments offshore make it possible to extract and transport gas economically all over the globe and make it potentially favourable over oil. To give a broad overview of the current and future gas chain, people with different backgrounds people with different backgrounds in the offshore industry will be invited to elaborate on recent innovations and talk about their views
