Sif is market leader in the fabrication of foundations for offshore wind turbines. During this event you will get acquainted with challenges that need to be overcome when fabricating massive XL monopiles to support the next generation offshore wind turbines. A view on future developments and smart design in foundation technology will be presented as well. The lecture will address the fabrication process at the Sif facilities at the Maasvlakte and the challenges that need to be overcome when fabricating massive XL monopiles to support the next generation offshore wind turbines and will be followed by a tour at the Sif fabrication yard at the Maasvlakte.
