ARN Recycling
Description
"IN 2015, 95% OF CARS WILL BE RECYCLED"
ARN is the centre of expertise on sustainability and the environment in the mobility sector. For example, on behalf of the automotive industry, ARN takes care of the environmentally responsible recycling of cars in the Netherlands.
By 2015, the industry will have achieved the legally required 95 per cent reuse and recovery. To this end, it is working together with a large number of market parties to achieve the statutory targets. To achieve the last percent recycling, a Post Shredder Technology plant has been built in Tiel. Here, the last remnant of the car - the shredder waste - is processed into usable material flows, using mechanical separation techniques.
ARN is working with market parties to develop new sales markets and products for the resulting recyclates. ARN now uses the knowledge it has built up for several clients at home and abroad. In collaboration with BOVAG and IvDM, a scan has been developed for garages.
