The Department of Sustainable Technology has set up a multi-year theme series Built Environment and Solar Energy, running from 2014 to 2022. As technical and economic developments in the field of solar panels and their application, and PV solar panels in particular, are moving fast, the board of the DT specialist department thinks it is time to be updated again on this subject. Mr Guust Verpaalen, CEO of Kameleon Solar is happy to do so.

Kameleon Solar is a Dutch designer and manufacturer of special, custom-designed PV solar panels for applications where standard solutions are inadequate. They design aesthetic solar panels for professional integrations in products and in buildings, facades, abri's and much more. The latest developments and applications will be presented and shown to you at Kameleon Solar's factory.

The reception will be followed by a presentation by CEO Guust Verpaalen on the vision, strategy, policy and the market, personnel policy, development of the company, and future expectations. A picture of the development of the application of solar panels in recent decades and the next decade will also be presented. This will be followed by the company's messages to professionals, administrators and politicians, cooperation with education and research, relevant laws and regulations, permits, the contribution of their products and applications to the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions. There will then be a Q&A, a tour of the showroom to show and explain the various possibilities regarding integrated solar panels and a factory visit to show the production process.
