Description

Paques is a world-renowned company that develops and produces biotechnological products for removing contaminants from wastewater and gases. These techniques are based on sustainable and natural processes.
One of the techniques used to remove contaminants from wastewater is ANAMMOX® (Anaerobic Ammonium Oxidation). This technique is a new biological process that removes nitrogen from wastewater in a sustainable cost-effective way also can be used to remove ammonia from waste gas. Compared to current nitrification/ denitrification processes, operating costs can be reduced by up to 90%. In addition, a CO2 emission reduction of 90% occurs. Also, a space saving of 50% occurs with this technique.
