Knowledge session CSR in the food sector
A tasty CSR meal including success stories and the most important tools.
With a turnover of 150 billion euros and 200,000 jobs, the food sector occupies an important position in the Dutch economy. Processing and marketing food products involves huge energy and fuel consumption. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainability have therefore gained great importance in the sector in recent years.
But what is the best way to ensure CSR in a food company? We will update you in one evening, focusing on best practices of companies in the sector. Knowledge sharing forms the main part of this knowledge session!
What will you find out?
What are the main CSR themes in the sector? What is expected of your organisation? How do you build a structural CSR policy in your company? We will take you through the tools available to secure CSR in your organisation. There will also be concrete practical examples of companies in the sector that have given shape to their sustainable ambitions. Like for example Arla Foods, the dairy company known for the brands Arla and Melkunie and the first company in the sector with a CSR performance ladder certificate.
