Description

On the radio, you often hear Van Gansewinkel Groep's advertisement, "WASTE DOES NOT ENTER". A challenge and worth a visit to that company. In Van Gansewinkel Groep's documentation "this is who we are, this is what we do", the company states that sustainability is deeply embedded in the organisation. But traditional sustainability is not enough, says Michael Braungart, one of the fathers of the Cradle-to-Cradle (C2C) idea, because that only amounts to minimising the bad products and less bad is not enough. According to Braungart, the global industrial system needs to change quickly and Van Gansewinkel Groep, with which Braungart has a cooperation agreement, is a spider in the C2C web.

In addition to the basics of the C2C philosophy, the 'Waste Doesn't Exist' workshop also discusses practical examples. For example, the development of the Philips Senseo. In an interactive presentation, participants are challenged to think in chains. Because chain collaborations lead to the core objective of C2C, which is to preserve raw materials in the cycle.

The lecture/workshop will last for one hour and will be led by Jeroen Vincent, manager Marketing & Sales at Van Gansewinkel Groep, who is closely involved in the C2C development within the company. After this, you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The maximum number of participants is 35. Sandwiches, coffee and tea will be served to participants prior to the workshop
