Would you like to use your knowledge and experience to help others in the field of sustainability? Then there is a great opportunity now!
As an engineer, you are at the centre of technology, often working with multiple disciplines and fields. The Sustainable Technology department offers a platform to its members for increasing knowledge and expanding the network around tomorrow's (technological) challenges.
We focus on people and society and on media advice. We also want to start thinking along with politicians and provide 'technical input' to the Lower House, where our input may be important. We also continue to organise meetings, usually on location at a company with renowned speakers who shine their light on various topics.
The Sustainable Technology Board meets about six times a year to ensure all this runs smoothly.
The current board is looking for new (board) members to further develop and renew the department and activities. We are specifically looking for a board member who also wants to represent the department in the KIVI Members' Council. If you only want to organise something once, you are of course also very welcome.
The committee work itself does not require much time, is very satisfying and leads to new contacts.
