On Thursday 14 November, we are guests at Barco's headquarters in Kuurne-Kortrijke (Belgium).
Barco is a global technology company that designs, develops and manufactures visualisation products for various professional markets such as:
- Control rooms
- Defence and space
- Professional Audio Visual presentation
- Digital cinema
- Healthcare
- Simulation and Virtual reality
- Media and entertainment (concerts, festivals, stations).
Barco is a global player in visualisation products and operates in more than 90 countries with over 4,200 employees. In 2012, Barco achieved sales of 1.156 billion euro.
For the general public, Barco's most recognisable products are its digital projection systems in cinemas, LED displays and LCD video walls in stadiums, festivals and buildings. Less well known is the application of their high-resolution displays in medical equipment and control rooms in industry, security, telecommunications and (air) traffic.

Option bus transport
If we have received more than 40 applications by Monday 4 November, we will organise bus transport to Kuunre-Kortrijke from two pick-up points in Zeeland. In case of a lower number of registrations, the regional committee can mediate in making carpool arrangements
The programme this afternoon will consist of reception and presentation by our host Johan Heyman, VP Operations. This will be followed by a tour of the demo rooms and production after which we will conclude with drinks in the auditorium.
