The roll-out of ERTMS in Belgium and NL
Description
At this meeting, two highly expert speakers will share with you the methods and challenges involved in the roll-out - on a national scale - of ERTMS as the European standard for rail traffic safety and control. Speaker Ivan Thielemans is deputy director at Infrabel, while speaker Eric Mink is ERTMS project manager at the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment. The topics the speakers will highlight stem from their personal experience in various prominent positions in the processes surrounding the large-scale roll-out of ERTMS currently underway in the Netherlands and Belgium.
