Designing trains

Do you agree that the Netherlands has the most beautiful trains? It is the result of collaboration between product formula managers, designers and engineers. This spring, Niels Greif, the nestor of NS Design and involved as an industrial designer in all NS' rolling stock projects between 1970 and 2015, presented a book on the subject. In that book, he discusses the significance of designing trains.
As the Rail Department, we are happy and proud that Niels wants to tell his story. We want to frame that story with an introduction on product formulas at NS and the role of engineers in the design and construction of new trains.
Host is Ricardo Rail, through a number of steps, successor to the former Mw3. NS department where trains were designed.
