Marcel van Lieshout of Goudappel Coffeng and Luuk Eickmans of CooP-Africa talk about the opportunities of cycling in developing countries.

Marcel discusses the opportunities offered by cycling in the urban environment as an alternative to the car and the importance of taking cycling into account in urban planning.

Luuk discusses the opportunities offered by the bicycle for the poor in Africa. The bicycle makes an important contribution to obtaining income, education and health care.
