Does DVM have the future?
Description
Dynamic Traffic Management has been one of the showpieces within traffic management in the Netherlands in recent years. Internationally, we are a major player in this field. It is therefore time for a lecture in which a number of traffic management experts explain what traffic management is, how it works, what it has brought us and what can be expected from dynamic traffic management in the future. The successes will be reviewed but the drawbacks will also be discussed. After an interactive session with experts from the Ministry of Infrastructure & the Environment, Rijkswaterstaat and TU Delft (working together within TrafficQuest, Centre for Expertise on Traffic Management) and a detailed explanation of the above aspects, you will have the opportunity to enter into a discussion with these experts so that the important question ''Does DVM have the future?'' is answered.
