ALE Heavylift
Description
ALE Heavylift is a global heavy transport company, for a more detailed description of the company please see the link below.
This excursion focuses on two different topics and will also take place at two different locations.
The reception and first presentation will take place at the ALE office. Here, Mr Ronald Hoefmans will present the background to the two topics of the excursion:
1. The Mega Jack system. An jacking system that allows loads of up to 50,000 tonnes to be jacked to a height of 25m. The Mega Jack system is set up at the office location at Konijnenberg 68.
2. The AL.SK190-2. This is currently the largest ringer crane in the world. The lifting movement is carried out with so-called beach-jacks and slewing by means of "skidding". The AL.SK190-2 is in the test phase and is completely set up in Oosterhout.
After the presentation of the Mega Jack, everyone should drive their own cars to the location in Oosterhout, where the second presentation and tour of the AL.SK190-2 will take place. This is about 10-15 minutes' drive.
Participants who may have come by public transport will have to be divided among the cars present
