Ammeraal Beltech B.V. is one of the world leaders in the production of process and conveyor belts with operations on a global scale. The Heerhugowaard plant is one of nine international production sites which, through a global network of its own operating companies in 26 countries plus an extensive network of distributors, distribute to 150 countries.
Ammeraal Beltech has more than 50 years of experience in the development and manufacture of process and conveyor belts. The production programme includes an extensive range of types and designs, serving many market segments, such as food processing industries, airports, distribution centres, paper industry and printing, postal companies, tobacco industry, textile industry, rubber and car tyres, automotive industry and wood industry
Much attention is paid to research and the development of innovative solutions for the requirements of the present time.
Current areas of focus include energy saving, self-steering tyres, hygiene and RFID (radio frequency identification).
We will hear more about some of these areas of research and development focus after a general introduction and an extensive tour of the plant
