AGM + Open lectures / ITA discussion evening
Description
First, the Annual General Meeting of Members will take place. This will be followed by a simple sandwich meal, followed by a number of interesting lectures about content, followed by an opportunity for discussion.
When you register, you can indicate which sections you would like to participate in.
* The standard for tunnel technical installations (TTI) of the National Road Tunnels, which is currently being worked on by RWS. Hans Ruijter, the National Tunnel Director RWS, responsible for the creation of this standard will inform you about the state of affairs.
* The Sluiskil bored tunnel under the Terneuzen-Ghent canal as an extension of the Westerschelde tunnel concerns an integral project involving many types of disciplines. Besides the two bored tunnels of approx. 1150 m, on both sides of the canal, access ramps with control buildings under architecture, two traffic squares with approx. 6 km of motorway as well as adaptation of the water management of the area, the passage of 3 railway lines - each in a different way - and the entire filling-in of the VTTI. * Design and implementation of the 2nd Coentunnel; Christophe Baudien of the Coentunnel Company will discuss the special aspects of the design and implementation of this special project, in which the complex environment played a dominant role.
* Feedback from ITA working group meetings of working group 11 (Immersed tunnels) by Hans de Wit of Tunnel Engineering Consultants, Mark van Vlaanderen of Mergor and Hans Hjelde of Volker Stevin.
An impression will be given of the content of a working group meeting and how knowledge exchange is done. There will also be a discussion of how bundled efforts from the Netherlands can bring immersed tunnels to international attention
