Scania Production Zwolle
Description
Scania has been manufacturing trucks in Zwolle since 1964. The development and production of modular components takes place mainly in Sweden but trucks are mainly assembled outside Sweden. Meanwhile, 60% of all Scania trucks produced roll off the assembly line in Zwolle and then find their way to all countries in Europe. You can experience for yourself how a truck is built at Scania during the KIVI NIRIA Voertuigtechniek factory visit on 7 March. Scania will also pay special attention in the company presentation to what is done with Lean Manufactering with themes such as JIT, Kanban, 5S and in production lean aspects such as flow, tact and pull.
