Explore the endless possibilities of being an engineer. Everyone is welcome every 2nd Friday of the month. Young KIVI NIRIA Engineers is launching this get-together in a number of major cities in the Netherlands to give engineers a regular meeting place alongside all other KIVI NIRIA events. Conviviality with friends, peers and always an interesting evening.
The theme of this evening is: 'Regulations: suffer or lead'
Sooner or later, an engineer runs into regulations that may thwart his plans. He then has two options: sit back and do nothing or take matters into his own hands.
The latter is called lobbying by some, advocacy by others, public affairs or regulatory affairs companies.
Jan Paul Peters will explain on Friday 13 July what is involved, using examples from his 20 years' experience in the automotive industry.
