We encourage all young engineers (and engineers to be) of the Netherlands, to sign up for the YKE Beach Event on 28 September where we will address the question: how do we make Scheveningen 'instagrammable'. This fun beach activity will bring young engineers from all over the country together in an innovative way and, with the help of this practical case study, we can make a difference at one of the Netherlands' most beautiful coastal locations.

Case study 'instagrammable' Noordboulevard Scheveningen

DEN HAAG - The Pier is, of course, the icon of Scheveningen. But there is room for one more, according to The Hague VVD. This new sculpture or work of art should be placed on the northern boulevard to bring more life there. What kind of icon remains to be seen, but it should be something that is 'instagrammable'. 'It has to be a place where you want to be photographed,' Rutger de Ridder explains.
