You will discover what engineering role you prefer, what skills you possess and where your wishes lie to grow. You will go home with a concrete development plan, so you can immediately start with your next step.

PART 1 Exploration

What kind of engineer are you?

Using a test developed by KU Leuven, TU Delft (in collaboration with KIVI and others) and TU Dublin, you will find out which engineering role suits you best. This provides a good basis for finding out in which direction you want to develop.

What skills do you possess?

When the engineering role is known, you take the subsequent test that reveals the level of your skills for this specific role. This gives a good insight into which skills you can best develop.

PART 2 Development plan

How do I achieve my goal?

This part focuses on the development plan. Based on the test results, you will discuss together, led by a KIVI coach, which goal you want to achieve and how to get there. You will get an explanation on how a good development plan is put together, how to make one and of course you will get to work on such a plan yourself, so that you go home with a concrete plan to take the next step in your career.

Who is the YKE growth programme for?

The YKE growth programme focuses mainly on students in the 2nd half of their studies and young engineers. In some cases, it may be useful to participate in this growth programme at a later age, for example in the case of a career switch.
