Description

We also visited Postnl parcels last year in January.
At the Postnl depot in Born, between 35,000 and 65,000 parcels are processed each evening for onward shipment to consumers around the world.
To this end, Postnl has developed a concept that is unique in parcel shipping.
Our host for the evening, Patric Vosbeek, senior process manager, will take us into the world of Postnl parcels in a presentation. After the presentation, we will go onto the "floor" in two groups to see for ourselves how parcels are processed. The sorting machine at the heart of the process will then be in full operation.

You will be able to see how the process is designed and executed "lean".
This means that the work process has to be carried out in a strictly regulated way, with each link depending on the previous and the next. During the presentation and the tour, Patric will certainly pay attention to this.

After the tour, there will be an opportunity to ask questions while enjoying a drink.
Please note that during the tour we will enter a logistics process. Safety shoes with steel toe caps are mandatory here!
As we are collaborating with another association, a maximum of 13 people can take part in this excursion
