Description

Steenfabriek Linssen has been making masonry bricks for 100 years. In the early years
entirely manual and fired in field kilns, from 1917 in a ring kiln. In
1980 the tunnel kiln was put into operation. Since 1988, only
rustic hand-shaped masonry bricks have been produced by machine.
After a brief introduction on the production process of bricks and its role
in the Dutch construction world, there will be a guided tour of the
terrain and in the factory during which we can watch the production process of the bricks from
the clay pile to the packed bricks at the dispatch
.
