Sustainable heat in the western mining region

Het Groene Net is a heat company in formation.
Hundreds of residents and businesses in Sittard-Geleen, Stein and Beek will benefit from sustainable heat.

The 15 May 2014 programme consists of a presentation of the current state of the project and a company visit to a newly to be connected property for the heat network in the Sanderbout district of Sittard.

First, the purpose and history of the creation of Het Groene Net will be explained with a presentation. The current project partners and the current status of the project will also be presented.
The benefits for the users of the new heat network will be indicated.
Examples of already realised building projects will be shown in the presentation.

Next, a visit will be made to a new object to be connected in the Sanderbout district of Sittard, so that the participants can get a good idea of the infrastructure needed for the heat network and about the differences in the heating equipment needed in the new homes or business premises to be connected.
