3D printing in FabLab
Description
3D printing only for hobbyists? FabLab Arnhem knows better. 3D printing, or additive manufacturing, is booming. This development is closely followed by the FabLab Arnhem. It is a technology that is changing the industrial future: endless freedom of form, less waste and faster market launches are some of its major advantages. This lecture will explain the development of 3D printing and its impact and application in various fields. In addition, demos will be given and the 3D printers and printed products can be viewed.
The FabLab Arnhem works together with students and courses of the Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen, but also has an emphatic outward focus. Together with companies and other (knowledge) institutions, it thinks along about the application of 3D printing in product development or, for example, its influence on business operations.
In addition, the FabLab Arnhem offers a workspace where students and individuals can experiment with this new technology and make prototypes, among other things.
For the FabLab, we are looking for volunteers who want to come and help in the Lab
