KIVI Network Café: Home batteries: a smart investment or not yet profitable?
During the KIVI network café on 7 April, it will be about the Home Battery.
On Monday 7 April, we will hold an informative evening on the application of home batteries.
From 2027, the net-metering scheme will end. This means that households with solar panels will benefit less from feeding power back to the grid. As a result, interest in home batteries is growing. But is a home battery a wise investment? Or are there better alternatives to use your self-generated power smartly?
What to expect:
- A detailed explanation of the application of home batteries
- The application, installation and benefits of home battery
- Prospects and developments in the market
A home battery stores solar energy that you do not use directly at a time when you generate it. You can then use this power in the evening or on cloudy days. This makes you less dependent on feed-in tariffs and less likely to pay peak tariffs if you have a dynamic energy contract. Find out more about buying home batteries and what the benefits are.
