Description

NACCO Materials Handling Group in Nijmegen has now existed for more than 50 years and was Hyster's first factory in Europe.

The Nijmegen factory began producing mainly smaller forklift trucks in 1952. In 1967 the current factory was built and from then on container handling trucks were also manufactured in Nijmegen.

In 1989 Hyster merged with Yale to form Hyster-Yale Materials Handling and five years later the name was changed to NACCO Materials Handling Group.

The Nijmegen site covers an area of 63600 m2 and has 433 employees working in the Assembly, Engineering, Marketing and Aftermarket support departments.

Currently, all forklift trucks with a capacity of over 8 tonnes are manufactured in Nijmegen, under the Hyster and Yale brand names. The plant also produces ReachStackers and container handling trucks.

On 17 May next, we proudly present to you our assembly lines, which have been completely redesigned in recent years based on the D(emand) F(low) T(echnology) principle. We hope to face a sustainable and voluminous future with these modern production lines
