Speaker Mr Dr Noor van Andel received the KIVI NIRIA Speurwerkprijs. The jury was looking for detective work that leads to increasing energy efficiency on existing infrastructures and contributes to making energy management more sustainable. The jury's verdict was: "In addition to outstanding research qualities, Noor van Andel also possesses excellent entrepreneurial and management qualities such as insight daring and vision."
Noor was long associated with Akzo - Nobel as director of Corporate Research, in 2001 he received the honorary doctorate from the University of Amsterdam for his achievements
