Description

Challenge: When is a project or programme successful?
Every day you see the term "project". In newspapers, TV and social media you are confronted with it. Everything has to be faster, the client wants a grip on everything and standard working methods (seemingly) no longer suffice. People ask for something new. Often that becomes a project.
A lot goes wrong with projects. An interesting question is: What makes a project successful? What is the role of the client? How does the contractor contribute to project success?
In recent years, programme management has come into the picture. What is a programme? Is it different from a project? Are different qualities and competences needed? When does one speak of success?
