Or are you not?
The perception of your workplace changes over time, whether you are at the beginning of your career or have been working on your career for several years. This is a good thing, because nothing is more unattractive than getting stuck in your job. It's just nice if you can steer the movement somewhat in the direction that appeals to you most. KIVI NIRIA region Utrecht organises this networking café to discuss the experiences of directing your own career in addition to having a drink.
Led by presenter Bas van 't Wout, fun discussions will arise from various questions and propositions about directing your career. The idea is to have a kind of experiential debate, focusing on sharing your questions, experiences and dilemmas. Hearing how others look at the same question or have dealt with it before can give you fun, new and refreshing ideas or be an eye-opener of your own blind spot.
The questions we address include:
1. When is it time for a new step in my career?
2. I like my work, but how do I avoid the rut?
3. My job I want to change, but how do I achieve my dream job?
During the discussions, the moderator ensures that everyone has a good opportunity to ask questions and/or share experiences. At the same time, Bas also ensures that within each question the question is looked at from different facets.
