Description
The basis for a tasty piece of chicken meat is laid by proper nutrition for the chicken itself. How this is put together and further developed explains engineer Marcel Jeurissen, manager of the Maasbracht site
We will visit De Heus Voeders b.v. in Maasbracht, where various types of chicken feed are produced. During this excursion, we see the completely renovated factory with modern energy-efficient production lines with capacities of up to 80 tonnes per hour. We look at the machines for the various operations set up on the different floors.
Some practical tips:
Minimum age of excursion participants: 16 years
Please note that sturdy footwear is required in the factory, which is in operation. In the stairwell everything is with open gratings (so no stiletto heels!) and you can look down from the approx. 7th floor. This may make the excursion less suitable for people with vertigo.

There is no charge for this excursion. You can register via the KIVI Region North and Central Limburg website until 25 October at the latest
