Description

As a follow-up to our successful culinary walks in Roermond, Venlo and Weert, we are now visiting our the Belgian Limburg town of Maaseik. After visiting the largest cities in North and Central Limburg, we thought it would be a nice idea to continue this initiative with our Belgian neighbours. Maaseik will certainly charm you. Surprisingly close and with lots of unexpected places. Stroll through hundreds of years of culture and history in the historical city centre: a living museum of architectural delights. Maasland Renaissance, baroque, rococo, neo-classicism...all within a few streets of each other. Maaseik, source of lazy relaxation and healthy exertion.
This evening, of course, cultural history, culinary enjoyment and, above all, a convivial evening are once again paramount. We will be welcomed by our host Bart Demoustiez in his Restaurant Den Soete Naam Jesus. In between we will be guided through this little town on the Meuse by a guide from VVV Maaseik
