N280 connects: lecture and visit
The N280 is the main east-west connection in central Limburg. Traffic on this road has been increasing significantly in recent years. Especially in Roermond and its surroundings. That is why the Province of Limburg and the municipality of Roermond want a better connection between the municipalities of Roermond and Leudal. The N280 should also be better connected to the A2, the A73 and the B52 to Germany.
To keep the city and its surroundings easily accessible, the N280 needs to be redesigned. Work will start in 2019 on the section near Roermond between exit Horn and Sint Wirosingel. The section between Leudal and the A2 near Kelpen/Oler will follow later.
Renewal of the N280 will lead to a number of improvements, such as traffic flow and safety, the accessibility of Roermond and a better living environment.
The N280 connects Roermond!
