During this field trip, we will be guests of Materials & Structural Analysis, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific.

For more than 60 years, this division (formerly FEI) has designed, manufactured, and supported the broadest range of high-performance microscopes, providing images and answers in micro-, nano and picometre structures.

Its hardware and software expertise in electron microscopy is combined with in-depth knowledge in the fields of materials science, life sciences and semiconductors, among others.

Globally, this branch of Thermo Fisher has about 3,000 employees, of which 750 in the Netherlands.
