Description
This year's programme includes a visit to the LWL openLuchtmuseum in Haagen. The LWL open air museum Hagen is the only open air museum in Europe completely dedicated to the history of crafts and technology.
In this museum in the beautiful landscape of the Mäckingerbach valley, you can visit various businesses as they were in the Westphalia-Lippe region 100 to 200 years ago. They cover a broad spectrum, including metalworking, food and paper production, book printing.
As you have come to expect from us, we will again give you the opportunity to take part in this excursion together with your family members.
10.00 o'clock: gathering with cars at gathering point Tango Tankstation on the Nijmeegseweg in Venlo From there we will go by cars to Haagen. If you wish, you can leave the car and travel with others for € 10,-- p.p. return, to be paid to the driver you ride with.
11.30 hrs: Reception and tour by a guide. He will accompany us on a tour of the section entirely focused on metalworking.
12.30am with the group at the park to the Haus Letmathe restaurant for a hot lunch. You should indicate your menu choice for this.
After the meal, you will have the opportunity to walk around the park on your own.
17.00 a.m. Gather at the car park for the return trip.
18.30 back in Venlo at assembly point
