The board of KIVI Regio Noord-West is delighted to invite you to an exclusive company visit to DOPS Recycling Technologies in Alkmaar.

DOPS develops innovative technologies for the chemical recycling of plastic waste. Using an advanced thermochemical process, plastics that are difficult to recycle are converted into valuable raw materials for new products. In doing so, DOPS makes a significant contribution to the circular economy and the reduction of waste streams.

During our visit, we will gain a unique insight into the development of this technology. Work is currently underway on the construction of the first industrial reactor on the laboratory site in Alkmaar. According to the schedule, this plant is due to come on stream in December 2026. This marks a significant turning point for DOPS: the transition from the laboratory and pilot phase to industrial application.

In addition to an explanation of the technology, the technical challenges and the upscaling of the process, we will be given a guided tour of the facilities and the new reactor installation.
