Description

This meeting starts with a short ALV of Region East followed by the presentation "Where does our 'green' energy come from?" by ing. Arthur Vermeulen.

Energy suppliers offer us as consumers the opportunity to choose between regular or 'green' energy, responding to our growing need for sustainability. But what does this choice actually mean in practice and what are the objectives, nationally and in the European context?

Arthur Vermeulen of The Raedthuys Group knows all about this, from his daily involvement in the realisation and operation of renewable energy projects, specialising in wind energy. He will take us into the world of generating and marketing renewable energy. He will cover operation of the turbines and latest developments in this regard, the challenges they face on a daily basis, the role of wind energy as a variable source in the electricity mix and the scale-up to 10 MW per turbine.

And, of course, he will take a look into the future from current trends: How realistic is a CO2-neutral energy supply?

In short, a very topical topic, supported by beautiful film images!
