BMA Ergonomics
Description
VISIT to BMA Ergonomics and mini-seminar 'C2C and recyclable product design'
Increasingly, we are becoming aware of the importance of using raw materials in a sustainable way. But what does this mean for product design? How can we use recycled materials without adversely affecting the quality of the product? What should we pay attention to when choosing the sustainable use of materials, which materials are available and what are their properties? How can the recyclability and reuse of parts already be taken into account during design?
On 22 February, we are guests of BMA Ergonomics in Zwolle, which already has some experience in designing and manufacturing products in a sustainable way. Harmen Leskens, R&D manager of BMA Ergonomics will give a presentation on their approach, results and challenges.
Knowledge institutions such as Saxion Hogeschool and the University of Twente are also researching this topic. During this meeting, introductions will be made by Ger Brinks (lecturer Saxion Hogeschool) and Harm Peters (researcher University of Twente).
