CANCELLED Burggraaff sells, designs, manufactures and builds detached and semi-detached houses throughout the Netherlands. In addition, Burggraaff also builds holiday homes and commercial buildings.
Burggraaff Bouw is a medium-sized construction company with approximately 135 employees. Everything Burggraaff builds is done using a unique and innovative prefabricated construction process.
By factory-producing all components, Burggraaff can achieve significantly higher quality than in traditional construction. Thus, neither rain nor frost affect the construction process or the final result.
Almost all construction activities are commissioned. Project development does not or hardly occur at Burggraaff. Burggraaff is an innovative company in the construction industry. The highly advanced 'house factory' in Leeuwarden, with a capacity of 250 houses a year, is proof of this.
In 1982, Burggraaff introduced a newly developed brick-concrete frame construction system. The idea was to produce all building components as large and finished as possible in a factory, which could then be assembled in one or two days. The same year, the first Burggraaff house was built.
Five to six men could build a detached house with garage in one day of construction after the foundation was laid. Assembly was immediately followed by finishing the interior (plumbing, electricity, etc.) And at the same time the roof tiles were laid outside. With this new system, Burggraaff reduced the total construction time to a quarter of the regular construction time.
But the construction system has gained increasing popularity and Burggraaff now builds across the country. Unlike all other builders, Burggraaff designs and produces practically all parts of the house in its new housing factory (the first in the Netherlands!). The advantages are that the building parts are matched, high quality and reliability. The construction time of the Burggraaff house is a quarter of normal construction time. The production process and construction is extremely environmentally friendly. The number of transport movements to the factory and construction site is about 15% of normal There is hardly any waste.
